This paper analyzes the wide application of big data technology in the field of education,especially its innovative role in students information management.Big data not only greatly improves the students performance analysis,optimization of teaching methods and prediction model of students development,but also provides the possibilities for realizing a more personalized education path.,With these advances,serious challenges to data privacy and security emerge.These challenges are explored and focus on how to properly address them,while taking full advantage of the opportunities presented by big data to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the education system.By comprehensively considering these opportunities and challenges,we will provide valuable insights and strategies for the policy makers and practitioners in the field of education to guide the effective integration of big data technologies.
