融合教育背景下辅助技术在国外视障学生英语教学中的应用及启示 被引量:1

The Application and Implications of Assistive Technology in Teaching English to Blind Students Abroad in the Context of Inclusive Education

摘要 融合教育是彰显社会文明,促进教育公平的重要举措。英语作为外语或第二语言,在世界各国教育体系中都占有重要位置,而视障学生的英语学习往往存在普遍困难。虽然视觉损伤使视障学生在英语学习方面存在明显困难,但他们可以借助现代化信息工具和个性化教学辅助措施与普通学生在相同环境下学习。视觉损伤并不是语言感知或概念知识习得不可逾越的障碍,视障学生可以拥有与普通学生平等的教育资源。本文借鉴美国、日本和俄罗斯等国创建融合性无障碍英语学习环境的教学实践模式,从发展和推广信息辅助技术、完善图书馆服务、发展混合式英语教学模式等方面,为我国融合教育背景下视障学生的英语教育提供借鉴与启示。 Inclusive education is an important initiative to demonstrate social civilization and promote fairness in education.English,as a foreign or second language,occupies an important place in the education systems of countries all over the world,and the learning of English by blind students is one of the common difficulties they face in learning in regular schools.It is obvious that blind students have difficulties in learning English,they can learn in a common environment with ordinary students with the help of modern information tools and personalized teaching aids.Visual impairment is not an insurmountable barrier to language perception or conceptual knowledge acquisition,and blind students can have equal access to educational resources as ordinary students.This paper draws on the teaching models of the US,Japan and Russia in creating inclusive and barrier-free English learning environments,and provides reference and inspiration for the English education of blind students in the context of China's inclusive education in terms of the development and promotion of information assistive technologies(ICTs),the improvement of library services,and the development of the blended English teaching model.
