数字服务发展是否影响了中国制造业出口技术复杂度? 被引量:6

Does Digital Service Development Affect the Technical Complexity of China's Manufacturing Export?

摘要 数字服务正在重塑全球制造业产业链布局和分工格局,也在带动各国制造业出口的升级转型。文章构建数字服务发展指数,基于中国2005~2020年行业层面的面板数据,采用熵值的优劣解距离法测算数字服务综合发展水平,从出口技术复杂度的视角研究数字服务发展给制造业带来的影响及其作用路径。研究表明,数字服务发展对制造业出口技术复杂度存在稳健的正向影响,影响路径主要包括规模效应、中间品效应、技术溢出效应和资源配置效应;由于制造业子行业间要素的密集度不同,数字服务发展对其影响也存在异质性,其中劳动密集型和资本密集型行业的影响更为显著;2018年后中美贸易摩擦凸显,数字服务发展对制造业出口技术复杂度的影响有所减弱。文章客观评估了中国数字服务的发展水平,验证了数字服务在制造业转型升级过程中的重要性,深化了对数字服务影响制造业出口技术复杂度作用路径的认识和理解,为中国制造业由“大”变“强”,进一步增强国际市场竞争力提供了实证依据。 Digital service is reshaping the division and layout of the global manufacturing industry chain,driving the upgrading and transformation of manufacturing exports in various countries.In this paper,the development index of digital service is constructed.Based on the panel data of China's industry from 2005 to 2020,the comprehensive development level of digital service development is measured by the method of entropy,and the influence of the development of digital service on the manufacturing industry and its action path are studied from the perspective of export technical complexity.The results show that digital service has a robust positive influence on the technological complexity of manufacturing export,and the influence paths mainly include scale effect,intermediate effect,technology spillover effect and resource allocation effect.Due to the different intensity of factors among manufacturing sub-industries,the impacts of the development of digital service on them are heterogeneous,the labor-intensive and capital-intensive industries are more significantly affected.However,since 2018,the trade friction between China and the United States has become prominent,and the impact of the development of digital service on the technological complexity of manufacturing exports has weakened somewhat.This study evaluates the development level of China's digital service more objectively,verifies the importance of the development of digital service in the process of manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading,deepens the understanding of the action path of digital service in influencing the technical export complexity of manufacturing and provides an empirical basis for China's manufacturing industry to change from"large"to"strong"and further enhance the competitiveness of the international market.
