摘要
好建筑·好设计是需要理论建构与评价标准的,但更不可缺少有分量、有实证价值的创作案例。协同共享虽是推进遗产保护传承的中外策略,可其同样适用于以设计的方式面向自然与文化的空间创作的建筑师。2023年4月叶依谦《设计实录》出版,它无疑提供了建筑师在理念指导下的扎实个案,因为书中收录的171个项目的文图书写,展示了27年从业历程,立足“大院”担栋梁的追求与设计原则。对于叶依谦及其工作室主攻的科研、办公、高校建筑来说,马国馨院士评价道:“从建筑界宏观总量看,他们是仅次于居住类建筑类型的,功能使用多样且专业内容复杂,虽有其特殊的标志性,但挑战与设计难度大。”这样的设计类型与坚守,对叶依谦团队是个考验。事实上,《设计实录》用平实准确的文图,践行了与设计者同框的模式追求,即“大度从容而不浮躁,讲究而不粗糙;有自我风采甚至优美,但不陷入大而无当”之中,这无疑体现了现当代建筑师与建筑文化出版的文化价值与底线。从此种意义上讲,《设计实录》是记录好设计的一本“好图书”。
While good architecture and excellent design demand theoretical constructs and evaluation standards,there is a greater need forcreative cases with substantiality and empirical significance.Collaborative and sharing make upa strategy for promoting heritage preservation and inheritance both in China and other parts of the world,but it is also applicable to architects who create spaces oriented to nature and culture in a manner of design.Ever since Ye Yiqian's Design Record was published in April 2023,architects have been provided with concrete cases under the guidance of the concept.The book contains 171 projects,showinghis 27-year course as a practitioner,based on the pursuit and design principles of"Courtyard"as a pillar.For the scientific research,office,and university buildings that Ye Yiqian and his studio mainly focus on,Ma Guoxin,the academician,once commented that"from the perspective of macro gross in the architectural field,they are only second to residential buildings,owing to their diverse functional uses and complex professional contents.Though they have their own special iconicity,the challenges and difficulties are still great."Such design types and perseverance are a test for Ye's team.Design Record,in fact,with plain and accurate text and diagrams,practices the pursuit with the designer,that is,"generous,calm,and exquisite,but free of impatience andcrudeness;carries self-charm and even the ultimate beauty,but not large and impractical",which undoubtedly embodies the cultural values and the bottom line of contemporary architects and architectural culture publication.In this sense,Design Recordmakes a great illustrated book that captures excellent designs.
