摘要
老年人的媒介使用效果是数字社会和老龄友好社会建设关注的重点。研究基于问卷调查数据和深度访谈资料,描述了老年人网络成瘾的现状和表征,并从代际关系视角分析了老年人网络成瘾的影响因素。研究发现,老年人的网络成瘾主要表现在对短视频和即时通讯类应用过度依赖;在其背后,网络成瘾是老年人社会经济地位差距在网络和新媒介使用领域的延伸。从代际关系视角看,随迁、照料孙辈以及与子代交往频率与老年人的网络成瘾密切相关,亲子间“爱而不亲”的情感张力、社区参与的消失共同强化了老年人的孤独感,进而诱发了网络成瘾问题;隔代间的数字反哺虽然能够缓解数字鸿沟,但也间接加重了老年人对网络的依赖。
The effectiveness of media use among the elderly is a crucial concern for the construction of a digital society and the aging-friendly society. Based on questionnaire data and in-depth interviews, this paper describes the current situation and representations of Internet addiction among older adults and analyzes the influencing factors of Internet addiction among older adults from the perspective of intergenerational relationships. The study found that Internet addiction among older adults is mainly manifested in overreliance on short videos and instant messaging applications and that Internet addiction is an extension of the socioeconomic status gap among older adults in the field of Internet and new media use. From the perspective of intergenerational relationships, moving with their children, caring for grandchildren, and frequency of interaction with offspring were strongly associated with Internet addiction for older adults. The emotional tension of "love but not affection" between parents and children and the disappearance of community involvement strengthen the loneliness of older adults, which in turn induces Internet addiction. Although intergenerational digital feedback can alleviate the digital divide, they also indirectly increase older adults' dependence on the internet.
