摘要
艺术创作是艺术家的个体行为,艺术家个体对一定文化场域的认知与表达体现了其文化身份。赵之谦是晚清著名书画家,在太平天国席卷江浙时避祸温州,其间所创作的“瓯中三图”——《瓯中草木图》《瓯中物产图》《异鱼图》,通过自身审美经验,在文化场域重置的情况下,贯彻“稽考辩难”的经世致用思想,塑造和构建了其文化身份,完成了他者视野下对温州地区风物的旨趣与表达,表现出了浓郁的瓯风民情,颠覆了其之前的花鸟画图像叙事结构。“瓯中三图”不仅体现了赵之谦强烈的自我意识和文化归属,还充分表明其求新求奇的鲜明现代性艺术特征,更强调了在瓯风民情影响下赵之谦“他觉—自觉—觉他”艺术创作演进路径。
Artistic creation is individual behavior of an artist whose cultural identity is represented by his cognition and expression of certain cultural field.Taking refuge in Wenzhou from the turmoil of Taiping Rebellion,through his own aesthetic experience in restructuring cultural field and pragmatism in verification of the unknown,Zhao Zhiqian created“three paintings of Ou”titled Exotic Plants in Wenzhou,Native Species in Wenzhou,and Strange Fish,by which he managed to establish his cultural identity in presenting unique scenery of Wenzhou from perspective of the otherness and demonstrating its strong flavor of folk customs,thus subverting the image narration in previous flowerand-bird paintings.Zhao Zhiqian’s three masterpieces created in Wenzhou not only reflect his strong self-consciousness and cultural belongingness,but also fully reveal his unprecedented artistic pursuits of novelty and originality with modern characteristics,highlighting the evolutionary path of his artistic creation from awareness of others,selfawareness to influencing others under the influence of folk customs in Wenzhou.
