论武汉地区志留纪鱼类Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus组合的时代

ON THE AGE OF SILURIAN HANYANGASPIS-SINACANTHUS ASSEMBLAGE IN WUHAN,HUBEI PROVINCE

摘要 Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus组合(或坟头鱼类组合)是志留纪早期张家界动物群的重要组成部分,广泛分布于中下扬子区的碎屑岩相地层中,但由于伴生的无脊椎动物化石稀少,其准确的地质时代仍存在争议。本研究在武汉地区新发现Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus组合分子与秀山动物群典型分子Coronocephalus交替出现或产自同一层内,证实了Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus组合的最高层位可以达到甚至略高于Coronocephalus层位。Coronocephalus在扬子区主要出现于中特列奇期的地层中,新材料的发现说明Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus组合的时代可上延至中特列奇期,而非仅限于早特列奇期。武汉地区产Hanyangaspis、Sinacanthus、Neosinacanthus和Jiangxialepis的层位有两个,一是以紫红色碎屑岩为主的早特列奇期的清水组,二是以黄绿、灰黄色碎屑岩为主的中特列奇期的坟头组。中下扬子区志留纪特列奇期碎屑岩地层中无脊椎动物与微体化石稀少,大多数地层及其中的早期鱼类化石常常缺少精确的时代限定,在使用这些生活在近岸浅水的土著型鱼类进行生物地层划分对比时需格外谨慎。 The Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus Assemblage(or Fentou Fish Assemblage)is an important constituent of the Zhangjiajie Fauna in the early Silurian,it is widely distributed in clastic strata in the Middle and Lower Yangtze regions.However,the exact geological age of this assemblage is still controversial due to the scarcity of associated invertebrate fossils.In this study,we find that the members of Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus Assemblage and the typical member of Xiushan Fauna(i.e.,Coronocephalus)occurred alternately or in the same bed.It is confirmed that the highest level of the Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus Assemblage can reach the horizon of Coronocephalus or even slightly higher.Given that Coronocephalus occurs mainly in the middle Telychian strata in the Yangtze region,our finding suggests that the age of Hanyangaspis-Sinacanthus Assemblage can extend into middle Telychian,rather than confined to the early Telychian.There are two horizons yielding Hanyangaspis,Sinacanthus,Neosinacanthus and Jiangxialepis in Wuhan area,one is the early Telychian Qingshui Formation dominated by purplish red clastic rocks,and the other is the middle Telychian Fentou Formation,which is mainly composed of yellowish green and grayish yellow clastic rocks.Due to the scarcity of invertebrates and microfossils in the Silurian Telychian clastic strata in the Middle and Lower Yangtze regions,most strata and the yielded early fish fossils cannot be dated precisely.Therefore,it is necessary to be cautious when using these endemic fish species,which lived in shallow waters of near-shore faices,for biostratigraphic division and correlation.
