光绪三十年六月三日施士洁一家移居厦门,先弃文从商进入厦门商政局任职主办“贡燕”业务,开启了施士洁与林本源家族往来的契机。弃商从政来到泉州府同安县马巷厅,担任通判,凸显闽台文化融合。福州修志局后,回到厦门,重返鼓浪屿。施士洁的晚年与庄文学活动紧密相连,重新奠立了他的文学地位。
On June 3,the 30th year of Guangxu,Shi Shijie and his family moved to Xiamen.Firstly he abandoned literature and went into business,and joined the Xiamen Commercial Administration Bureau to host the"Tribute Yan"business;it opened an opportunity for Shi Shijie to communicate with Lin Benyuan clan.Then he abandoned business and engaged in politics,he came to Ma Xiang Hall,Tong'an County of Quanzhou as a"General Judge",highlighting the cultural integration between Fujian and Taiwan.After Fuzhou"Chronicle Compiling Bureau",he returned to Xiamen and Gulangyu.Shi Shijie and Shuzhuang literary activities were closely linked in his old age,and once again established his literary status.
