State-owned enterprises(SOEs)have been growing alongside the development of the People’s Republic of China since 1949,forming an important part of the socialist management system with Chinese characteristics.Reforming SOEs has been a consistent theme of China’s economic reforms,and a significant research topic in academic communities.
