摘要
目的:调查南通市肿瘤医院病理报告的延迟情况,分析造成病理报告延迟的原因,为病理报告质量控制及持续改进提供参考。方法:调取2019-2021年南通市肿瘤医院病理科所有病理检查标本共48698例,其中手术标本21953例,活体组织检查标本26745例,分别统计2种标本病理报告延迟发出的例数,并分析病理报告延迟的原因。结果:26745例活体组织检查标本中,自收到标本起3个工作日内发出报告例数为26550例,占99.27%,超过3个工作日发出例数为195例,占0.73%;21953例手术标本中,自收到标本起4个工作日内发出报告例数为21669例,占98.71%,超过4个工作日发出例数为284例,占1.29%。经统计分析,导致病理报告延迟的常见原因包括组织脱钙、进一步行免疫组织化学检查、疑难病例需全科会诊、补取标本、技术员输入送检日期错误、与临床进一步沟通、需要重取标本等。结论:99.34%的病理报告能够在规定时间内及时发出,超过推荐标准。部分延迟病理报告可以定期进行统计汇总,并开展原因分析,从而针对性地解决延迟现象,实现病理报告质量的持续改进,推动病理工作质量长效、稳步发展。
Objective:To investigate the delay in pathological reports at Nantong Tumor Hospital,to analyze the causes of delays,and to provide insights for quality control and ongoing improvement of pathological reports.Methods:A total of 48698 specimens from the Department of Pathological,Nantong Tumor Hospital from 2019 to 2021 were retrieved,including 21953 surgical specimens and 26745 biopsy specimens.The number of delayed pathological reports was calculated and compared for both types of specimens,and the reasons for the delayed reports was analyzed.Results:Out of 26745 cases of biopsy specimens,reports of 26550 cases(99.27%)were issued within 3 working days from specimen receipt,while reports of 195 cases(0.73%)were issued after 3 working days.Among 21953 cases of surgical specimens,reports of 21669 cases(98.71%)were issued within 4 working days from specimen receipt,while reports of 284 cases(1.29%)were issued after 4 working days.Through statistical analysis,common reasons leading to delayed pathological reports included tissue decalcification,further immunohistochemistry,challenging cases requiring multidisciplinary consultation,specimen resampling,technician error in inputting the submission date,further clinical communication,and the need for specimen recollection.Conclusion:A total of 99.34%of pathological reports are issued within the specified timeframe,exceeding the recommended standards.Delayed pathological reports can be periodically summarized and analyzed to identify causes for delays.This process aims to mitigate delays,ensure continuous improvement in the quality of pathological reports,and promote the long-term and stable development of the quality of pathological work.
