摘要
随着翻译活动在新的历史时期不断丰富发展,作为一种理性目光和建构力量的翻译批评更加凸显其重要性。在本次访谈中,刘云虹教授首先探讨了中国文学外译语境下翻译批评的实践导向功能和理论建构功能,主张批评界从中国文学外译的基本特征、影响要素与根本诉求出发展开理性思考和评价,积极担负应尽的责任。随后,刘教授对文学翻译的生成性本质进行了阐释,指出翻译批评的理论建构与实践介入需立足于对翻译根本性问题的深刻把握,批评主体应以历史和理性的目光看待文学翻译的“生”与“成”。最后,刘教授着眼翻译的审美和主体两个核心维度,倡导学界积极开展文学翻译的审美批评,同时重点关注译者的主体性及其于翻译生成过程中的主体化,并就相关批评实践的开展提出具体建议。
With the enrichment and development of translation activities in the new historical period,translation criticism,as a rational perspective and a constructive power,gradually highlights its importance.In this interview,Professor Liu Yunhong firstly discusses the functions of practical guidance and theoretical construction of translation criticism in the context of Chinese literary translation,advocating that the critics should start from the basic characteristics,influencial factors and fundamental demands of Chinese literary translation to carry out rational thinking and evaluation,and actively shoulder their responsibilities.Secondly,Professor Liu explains the generativity of literary translation,pointing out that the theoretical construction and practical intervention of translation criticism should be based on an accurate grasp of the fundamental issues of translation,and the subject of criticism should examine the"birth"and"growth"of literary translation from a historical and rational perspective.Finally,she focuses on two core dimensions of translation:aesthetics and subjectivity,advocating the academic circles to actively conduct aesthetic criticism of literary translation,while focusing on the translator's subjectivity and its subjectification in the becoming of translation,and puts forward specific suggestions on the development of relevant criticism practices.
