摘要
针对直流放电尘埃等离子体实验中介质球大颗粒的复杂运动现象,采用理论分析和数值模拟,研究了鞘层深处介质球颗粒的电性和带电量问题.研究结果表明,鞘层深处带电大颗粒的电性和带电量与以往人们广泛研究的悬浮在鞘层边界附近的小颗粒完全不同.当颗粒与极板间距小于8.2 mm时,颗粒带正电;通过修正离子充电电流,计算得到半径为250μm的颗粒在放电电压为U=-280 V时带电量约Q=5.2×10^(6)e,计算结果验证了前期实验测量结果.
Aiming to understand the complex motion process of large dielectric particle in the DC discharge dusty plasma experiments,the electrical properties and charge of dielectric particle deep into the plasma sheath are studied by the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.Results show that the electricity and the charge of large particle deep into the plasma sheath are completely different from that of the small particle suspended near the sheath boundary which were widely studied previously.When the distance between the particle and the electrode is less than 8.2 mm,the particle is positively charged.By modifying the calculation of ion charging current,the charge of particle with the radius of 250μm is calculated to be about 5.2×10^(6) e under the applied voltage of-280 V.This verifies previous experimental measurement results.
