Hydrofluoroether is considered a new and ideal alternative to ODS.In addition to its excellent envi⁃ronmental properties,it also has the characteristics of low toxicity,non corrosiveness,non combustion,and no smoke generation.It is widely used in various industries due to its incomparable advantages compared to other alter⁃natives.This article describes the excellent performance,application scenarios,and preparation methods of hydrofluoroether at home and abroad.
