Study on process mineralogy of a low-grade phosphate rock

摘要 以清平磷矿为研究对象,利用矿物参数自动定量分析系统(AMICS)、扫描电子显微镜-能谱仪(SEM-EDS)、X射线衍射(XRD)、偏光显微镜和激光剥蚀-电感耦合等离子体质谱仪(LA-ICP-MS)等测试手段,对该矿的化学元素组成、矿物组成及含量、粒度特征、单体解离情况及连生关系等进行了研究,结果表明:矿石中主要有用矿物为胶磷矿,为非晶质结构或显微隐晶质结构;主要脉石矿物为白云石,次要脉石矿物为石英、黄铁矿,同时含有少量硫磷铝锶石和磷铝钙石;该矿石需要通过选矿的方法脱除白云石以富集磷灰石;胶磷矿与微细粒脉石矿物共生、P_(2)O_(5)品位低(12.05%)是影响磷灰石分选富集的主要不利因素。研究结果对该矿石的分选工艺流程制定具有一定的指导意义。 Taking Qingping phosphate rock as the research object,the chemical composition,mineral composition,contents,particle size distribution,monomer mineral liberation and association of the ore were studied in details by means of Automated Mineral Identification Characterization System(AMICS),Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),polarizing microscope and Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer(LA-ICP-MS)and other testing methods.The research results show that the major valuable mineral in the ore is collophanite(a phosphate rock)representing amorphous or aphanitic structure.The gangue mineral is dominated by dolomite and the secondary gangue minerals composed of quartz and pyrite.The phosphate rock also contains a small amount of svanbergite and phosphoaluminate.This phosphate rock so called collophanite is subject to beneficiation for removing dolomite and enrichment of apatite.The main unfavorable factors such as collophanite finely associated with gangue minerals and low grade of 12.05%P_(2)O_(5)had negatively affected the separation of phosphate from dolomite.The research results could be provided as instructions for the formulation of the flow sheet for beneficiating the phosphate rock.
