To investigate the impact of comprehensive nursing mode on the pain and psychological status of critically ill children in PICU and their families,100 pediatric intensive care unit(PICU)critically ill children and their families admitted to our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were randomly divided into two groups of 50 each. The control group used traditional nursing mode, while the intervention group used comprehensive nursing mode for intervention.Compare the changes in pain scores and family psychological status scores between the two groups of children, and record adverse reactions and the attitudes of medical stafftowards end-of-life care before and after nursing. The study found that the pain scores of the intervention group after nursing were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The anxiety and depression scores of the family members of the postcare intervention group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the intervention group was 14.00%lower than that in the control group(42.00%,P<0.05).The score of end-of-life care attitude in the postcare intervention group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Therefore,adopting a comprehensive nursing model for dying children in PICU can effectively alleviate pain, improve the negative emotions of their families, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve the attitude of medical stafftowards end-of-life care.It has clinical significance and is worth promoting.
