摘要
银行业改革及统一大市场建设,对建设制造强国及贸易强国具有重要影响。文章利用2000—2013年中国工业企业数据库、海关贸易数据库与银行分支机构数据,实证检验银行业结构性竞争对制造业出口质量的影响及其机制,并考察统一大市场建设的调节作用。研究发现:银行业结构性竞争对制造业出口质量具有显著的促进作用;缓解融资约束、促进技术创新与增加中间品进口是银行业结构性竞争促进制造业出口质量升级的主要机制;统一大市场建设强化了银行业结构性竞争对制造业出口质量的促进效应。
Banking reform and the construction of a unified market have an important impact on the construction of a manufacturing and trading power.Using the data of China’s industrial enterprise database,customs trade database and bank branches from 2000 to 2013,this paper examines the impact of bank structural competition on the quality of export products of manufacturing enterprises,and deeply analyzes the regulatory role of the construction of a unified market.It is found that banking structural competition has a significant role in promoting the quality of export products of manufacturing enterprises,and this conclusion is still valid after considering endogenous and multiple robustness tests;Alleviating financing constraints,promoting technological innovation and increasing the import of intermediate goods are the main mechanisms for the banking structural competition to promote the export quality upgrading of the manufacturing industry;The adjustment effect test shows that the construction of a unified market has strengthened the promotion effect of bank structural competition on the quality of exports of manufacturing enterprises.
