As a scholarly writer,Du Qinggang attracts much attention due to his linguistic and cultural background in China and France.His works arouse notable reactions among Chinese and French readers.In this interview,his practice and concept of writ⁃ing show a typical transcendency.In terms of language,Chinese and French,translation and writing complement each other,giv⁃ing his works a cross-cultural quality.In storytelling,he blends life experience with romantic imagination,attempting to cross the border between reality and fiction.In writing skills,he integrates the addition and subtraction of storytelling,pursuing the read⁃ability and uniqueness of works.In terms of identity,his identity as a researcher and creator complements each other,focusing on the academic and exploring the path of elegant and common appreciation of works.Du Qinggang’s literary creation is a unique landscape in today’s literature,and also an adventure of crossing the border with literature.
