The contribution of intelligent coal mining to coal mine safety is detailed,and the intelligent prevention and control solutions for major disasters that match intelligent coal mining are reviewed,providing a theory for researchers to understand the development trend of coal mine safety in China.The analysis concludes that China is vigorously developing smart coal mining,which is a combination of traditional coal mining and the latest technology.The mining industry hopes to mitigate or solve coal mine safety,health and labour-intensive problems and ensure energy security through the application of smart coal mining.
