摘要
《古今图书集成》以其按类编排、秩然有序的结构体例标志着古代官修类书走向成熟,对现代大型图书的编纂体例具有重要的借鉴意义。《文学典》作为此书之一典,其体例特点有三:一是典部整体结构以《集成》“凡例”为统领,经纬目纵横并进、相互交错。二是部类架构二分“文学总部”与“文体分部”,各部卷帙数量不一、详略分明。三是纬目体例以“书目体”为主,“纪传体”为辅,以时编次,章法明晰。《文学典》的体例研究对认识《集成》及其文学典部在组织形式、文献采摭、分类原则以及文学文体观等具有重要价值。
Complete Collection of Illustrations and Writings from the Earliest to Current Times(The Collection for short)marks the maturity in ancient encyclopedia for its arrangement of category and orderly structure,which is of important reference significance for the compilation of modern large-scale books.As a part of The Collection,Literary Canon has three characteristics in the layout style.Firstly,the overall structure is guided by the explanatory notes of The Collection,showing the interweaving of longitude and latitude order.Secondly,it is divided into Literature Headquarters and Stylistic Division with different volumes and diversified details.Thirdly,in terms of latitude,it mainly adopts the form of Bibliographic Style,supplemented by Biographical Style in chronological order and clear organization.On the bibliography,there are different selection standards and distinct tendency to specific themes,consciously manifesting the editor’s will.The research of layout style of Literary Cannon is beneficial to understanding The Collection and its literary part in terms of its organizational form,bibliography,classification principle and literary and stylistic concepts.
