摘要
新疆自古以来就是中国领土不可分割的一部分。作为丝绸之路经济带的核心区,新疆是“一带一路”沿线国家和地区经济、社会、文化国际交往的关键区域。中国新疆一直是西方媒体涉华报道的主要议程和舆情焦点,更是关联中国国际形象的重要地域性构成。要讲好中国故事,新疆故事必须讲好。在当下西强东弱的国际舆论场中,西方媒体时有反华势力炮制各种虚假涉疆议题,相关舆情对我国国际形象造成了一定的负面影响。本研究基于GDELT事件数据库,梳理并分析了2017—2021年国际舆论报道中“一带一路”沿线国家与新疆相关的事件数据,通过分析相关事件的提及次数、参与者行为、潜在影响与媒体语气态度,刻画了“一带一路”沿线国家与新疆关联事件的国际传播轮廓,为更加准确地了解相关事件的国际舆论生态提供了可能性。同时,本研究力图找准涉疆国际舆论妥善应对的关键点,进而尝试提出涉疆国际形象自塑的个性化建议,努力为破除“一带一路”项目建设中的“舆论杂草”。
Xinjiang has always been an integral part of China’s territory since ancient times.Xinjiang plays a vital role as a communication hub between countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).However,certain countries have fabricated false issues involving Xinjiang in recent years,damaging China’s international image.To overcome the negative effects of these false claims and promote Xinjiang’s integration into the BRI,it is essential to understand international public opinions and attitudes towards the interaction between BRIparticipating countries and Xinjiang.This study aims to analyze data related to Xinjiang and countries that have participated in the BRI using the GDELT event database.The study analyzes the number of mentions of relevant events,the behavior of participants,the potential impacts,and the tone of media coverage regarding these events.By examining the event data related to Xinjiang and BRI-participating countries,this study provides insights into the international public opinion ecology of Xinjiang.This research can help eleminate the“toxic public opinion”and contribute to Xinjiang’s successful involvement of the BRI.
