摘要
麦积山石窟现代文物保护工作自冯国瑞先生开启以来,历时80余载,分为五个阶段:发轫时期、全面勘察和机构初设、加固工程全面展开、建制提升全方位开展以及新时代的世界文化遗产保护等。麦积山石窟文物保护工作见证了我国文物保护理念、文物保护技术等实践与探索,在中国石窟寺类文物保护中具有重要的示范意义,是中国石窟寺文物保护工作和历程的重要组成部分。
Conservation work at the Maijishan Grottoes begun by Mr.Feng Guorui has a long history of 81 years that can be divided into the following five periods:(1.)Initial study and conservation;(2.)comprehensive surveying and the establishment of relevant institutions;(3.)commencement of general conservation work spearheaded by specific projects;(4.)promotion of an institutional system and the all-round implementation of conservation projects;and(5.)conservation of world culture in the new age.The conservation work done at the Maijishan Grottoes has born witness to the most critical period in the history of China's cultural preservation activities,in terms of both the principles and technology guiding conservation.The success these efforts have achieved sets a good example for the further conservation of cave temples in China,and constitutes an important part of the conservation history of China's cave temples.
