摘要
全球数字经济时代,新兴经济体跨国企业的数字化转型成为学界和业界关注的焦点。本文从组织学习视角出发,结合中国上市跨国企业2010—2019年的数据样本,对新兴经济体跨国企业的数字化转型如何影响创新绩效展开研究。通过研究发现,数字化转型能够提升跨国企业的创新绩效,吸收能力正向中介数字化转型与创新绩效二者间的关系。本文的研究发现不仅揭示出数字化转型与创新绩效间的关系,而且为二者间的关系提供了可行的解释机制——吸收能力。因此,对于新兴经济体跨国企业来说,要想在数字经济时代实现技术超车,一方面需要重视企业的数字化转型,另一方面需要提升自身的吸收能力。
In the era of global digital economy,digital transformation of multinational enterprises(MNEs)in emerging economies has become a focus of attention in academia and industry.From an organizational learning perspective,this article investigates how digital transformation of MNEs in emerging economies affects innovation performance by combining a data sample of Chinese listed MNEs from 2010-2019.The study finds that digital transformation can enhance the innovation performance of MNEs,absorptive capacity positively mediates the relationship between digital transformation and innovation performance of both.The findings of this article not only reveal the relationship between digital transformation and innovation performance,but also provide a feasible explanatory mechanism for the relationship between the two variables,that is,the absorptive capacity.Therefore,for MNEs in emerging economies to achieve technological overtaking in the digital economy,they need to pay attention to their digital transformation on the one hand and enhance their absorptive capacity on the other.
