摘要
僧肇与朱熹分别是释儒两家的代表人物。虽然二人所属的派别不同,但他们都承认世界有一个绝对的真理。僧肇称之为真谛,朱熹称之为天理。真谛乃非有非无,不可偏执;而天理则是实有,内在于一切事物。凡夫惑于俗谛,故真谛只有圣心可以鉴照;天理在物,故人人皆可格物而穷理。圣心照见真谛,则真谛即在圣心,故用寂体一;性理为未发之体,格物穷理为已发之用,此亦体用兼备。在超验的层面,僧肇与朱熹的真理观非常相近。而具体到经验层面,二人因为所处的立场不同,故其真理观又有一定的差异。
Monk Zhao and Zhu Xi are representatives of Buddhism and Confucianism,respectively.Although they belong to different factions,they both admit that there is an absolute truth in the world,which Monk Zhao called the true meaning and Zhu Xi called the heavenly principle.The true meaning is a kind of existence and non-existence,and one cannot be paranoid about it;And the heavenly principle is real,inherent in all things.Ordinary people are confused by the common truth,so only the holy heart can reflect the true meaning;The natural principle lies in things,so everyone can study phenomena of nature and find the principle.If the Holy Heart shines upon the true meaning,then the true meaning lies in the Holy Heart,hence the noumenon and phenomenon are really one;Human nature and natural principle are the noumenon that has not yet emerged,while the principles of things studied are the phenomena that have already emerged.This also combines noumenon and phenomena.At the transcendental level,Monk Zhao and Zhu Xi have very similar views on truth,but specifically at the experiential level,due to their different positions,there are certain differences in their views on truth.
