The Fairy Festival is held on the fifteenth day of the third month on the lunar calendar,and it lasts three days.It is a traditional festival of Nu ethnic group in Gongshan area of Yunnan Province.At this time of year,all the mountains are covered with blossomed azaleas(盛开的杜鹃花).
