摘要
以学生为中心的学习模式以及培养学生成为自主学习个体的教学方式逐渐成为教育改革的目标。为探究我国非英语专业大学生英语自主学习能力现状并在英语高等教育中进一步培养学生的自主学习能力,文章以某高校非英语专业大一年级学生为研究对象,采用定量定性相结合的研究方法进行探究。结果表明大学生仍具备一定的英语自主学习能力,但在自我检测英语学习效果以及自主提高英语听说能力行为方面比较薄弱。文章可为在高等教育英语教学中如何培养大学生英语自主学习能力及确定教学侧重点提供实际参考。
Students-centered learning models and pedagogical approaches that nurture students to become autonomous are increasingly becoming goals in educational reform.This paper examines autonomous English learning of first-year non-English major students in universities and adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods,in order to explore the current situation in China and further cultivate autonomy in English higher education.The results show that the college students are still autonomous,but there are some weaknesses in terms of selfexamination and improvement of English listening and speaking ability.This paper also provides practical suggestions to cultivate college students'English autonomy and improve teaching methods in English higher education.
