棕色脂肪组织分化的分子调控及生理学功能研究进展

摘要 脂肪组织(AT)是参与能量代谢的重要组织,根据细胞构成和生物学功能不同,其主要分为白色脂肪组织(WAT)和棕色脂肪组织(BAT).脂肪组织已从最初被认为只是一种能量储存器官发展为内分泌系统的复杂组成部分.棕色脂肪组织由含有小脂滴的多房脂肪细胞组成,这些小脂滴只会在其细胞内储存少量的甘油三酯.棕色脂肪细胞是产热脂肪细胞,在防止哺乳动物暴露于冷时体温过低的非颤抖产热中起核心作用.棕色脂肪细胞通过以热量的形式释放多余的能量,有助于维持能量平衡.在人类中,曾一度认为棕色脂肪组织只在新生儿中存在,在成人体中不存在或数量甚微而没有生理意义.随着医学科技的发展,在成年人体内发现了功能性的棕色脂肪组织,并为人类对抗肥胖提供了新靶标.就棕色脂肪组织分化的分子调控及其潜在的生理学功能进行概述. Adipose tissue(AT)is an important tissue involved in energy metabolism.It is mainly divided into white adipose tissue(WAT)and brown adipose tissue(BAT)according to cell composition and biological function.Adipose tissue(AT)has developed from being initially considered as an energy storage organ to a complex component of the endocrine system.Brown adipose tissue consists of multilocular fat cells that contain small lipid droplets that store only small amounts of triglycerides in their cells.Brown adipocytes are thermogenic fat cells that play a central role in preventing the non-shivering thermogenesis of hypothermia in mammals exposed to cold.Brown adipocytes help maintain energy balance by releasing excess energy in the form of heat.In humans,brown adipose tissue was once thought to be present only in newborns and absent or too small to be of physiological significance in adults.Functional brown adipose tissue exists in adults as well,providing a new target in the fight against obesity.In this paper,the molecular regulation of brown adipose tissue differentiation and its potential physiological functions are reviewed.
