黄脊竹蝗交配行为及产卵量和产卵习性观测

Observation on mating behavior,egg amount and oviposition habit of Ceracris kiangsu Tsai

摘要 为探明黄脊竹蝗(Ceracris kiangsu Tsai)的交配行为及产卵量和产卵习性,本研究以扁穗雀麦(Bromus cartharticus)、毛竹(Phyllostachys edulis)和芭蕉(Musa basjoo)作为寄主植物,室内饲养黄脊竹蝗,人工观察法观测其交配过程和交配次数及其产卵日节律,并观察3种寄主植物对其产卵量的影响,同时用体式显微镜观察卵块及卵粒形态大小。结果表明,黄脊竹蝗为一雌多雄交配,其交配多集中在14∶00—17∶00,1头雌虫最多与6头雄虫交配。产卵时间多集中在15∶00—18∶00,完成一次产卵需要70~95 min,产卵时假产卵孔数量接近于真产卵孔的2倍,产完卵后部分假产卵孔裸露于地面形成直径0.5~0.65 mm的孔。不同食物源其产卵量不同,芭蕉饲养的黄脊竹蝗产卵量最多,平均为125粒,扁穗雀麦次之,平均为107粒,而毛竹饲养的产卵量最少,平均为91粒。黄脊竹蝗的卵块呈红褐色,由卵盖、卵囊壁和卵室组成,长21~25 mm,宽4~5 mm,卵粒呈黄色,长5.43~6.75 mm,宽0.52~2.63 mm。研究结果明晰了黄脊竹蝗的交配行为和产卵习性,为从卵期寻找突破口,探索有效的防控途径提供依据。 To ascertain the mating behavior,egg production and oviposition habits of Ceracris kiangsu Tsai,Bromus cartharticus,Phyllostachys edulis and Musa basjoo were used as host plants,and C.kiangsu was raised indoors.The mating process,the mating times and the daily rhythm of oviposition were observed by manual observation,and the effects of three host plants on its oviposition were observed.At the same time,stereomicroscope was used to observe the shape and size of egg masses and egg grains.The results showed that the C.kiangsu was polyandry,and the mating time is mainly concentrated at 2:00-5:00pm,and a female would mate with 6 males at most.The spawning time was mostly concentrated at 3:00-6:00 pm,and it took 70-95 min to complete one spawning.The number of false spawning holes was nearly twice that of true spawning holes,and some of the false spawning holes were exposed to the ground with diameter of 0.5-0.65 mm.The amounts of eggs produced by feeding on different host plants were different.The C.kiangsu raised on Musa basjoolaid had the most eggs,with an average of125 eggs,followed by Bromus cartharticus,with an average of 107 eggs,and the average number of eggs raised by Phyllostachys edulis was 91.The egg mass of C.kiangsu was reddish brown and consisted of egg cover,egg sac wall and egg chamber,21-25 mm long,4-5 mm wide,and the egg grain was yellow,5.43-6.75 mm long,0.52-2.63 mm wide.The research results clarified the mating behavior and spawning habits of C.kiangsu,providing a basis for finding a break through from the egg stage and exploring effective prevention and control approaches.
