摘要
20世纪70年代前后,以马尔库塞提出“虚假需求”为标志,西方资本主义社会进入生产填充虚假需求市场的发展阶段。消费社会是对这个阶段的总体性概括。从根本上来说,消费社会是在资本无限追逐自我增殖的内在逻辑下,资本主义社会为解决市场扩张赶不上生产扩张的固有矛盾的必然产物。消费社会表象为一个物质丰裕的社会,也是一个病态的社会。在不断重复虚假需求的制造、生产和消费中,人们全方位受虚假需求操纵,沦为整齐划一的消费机器,在狂热的消费中轻松愉快地被压抑和异化。随着全球化趋势和我国市场经济的深入发展,我国消费异化现象不断涌现,这表明加强对消费社会的审视和批判,是实现人们对美好生活向往的进程中亟待研究的重要课题。
Around the 1970s,marked by Marcuse’s“false demand”,the western capitalist society entered the development stage of filling the false demand market.The consumer society is a generalization of this stage.Fundamentally,the consumer society is the inevitable solution to the inherent contradiction of capitalist society whose market expansion cannot keep up with the expansion of production under the logic of capital’s infinite pursuit of self-proliferation.Western scholars point out that the consumer society is a society of material abundance,but also a morbid society.In the process of constantly repeating the manufacturing,production and consumption of false demand,people are manipulated by false demand in all directions,and become a uniform consumption machine.People are easily suppressed and alienated in the frenzy of consumption.With the trend of globalization and the in-depth development of China’s market economy,the phenomenon of consumption alienation in China emerges.This shows that strengthening the inspection and criticism of the consumer society is an important topic that needs to be studied urgently in the process of fulfilling people’s aspiration for a better life.
