氢氧化镁/氢氧化铝/POE/m-LLDPE复合材料的阻燃和力学性能 被引量:2

Flame Retardant and Mechanical Properties of Aluminium Hydroxide/Magnesium Hydroxide/POE/m-LLDPE Composites

摘要 采用氢氧化铝(ATH)和氢氧化镁(MH)为阻燃剂,乙烯-辛烯共聚物(POE)为增韧剂,马来酸酐接枝线型低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE-g-MAH)为增容剂,通过双螺杆挤出和注射成型制备了茂金属线型低密度聚乙烯(m-LLDPE)阻燃复合材料。通过拉伸试验、冲击试验、热重分析、极限氧指数、垂直燃烧试验和扫描电镜研究了阻燃剂和POE质量分数以及阻燃剂的表面处理对阻燃m-LLDPE阻燃性能、力学性能和形貌的影响。结果表明,阻燃剂(ATH/MH)的热分解温度范围完全覆盖了m-LLDPE的热降解范围,材料燃烧过程中,ATH/MH能一直起到阻燃作用。阻燃剂质量分数为60%,未处理(ATH/MH)/POE/m-LLDPE复合材料的极限氧指数(28.7%)为纯m-LLDPE的近1.65倍。POE质量分数由6%增至10%,使60%未处理(ATH/MH)/POE/m-LLDPE的冲击强度(46.93 kJ/m^(2))和断裂伸长率(28.67%)分别增至84.44 kJ/m^(2)和33.17%,分别提高了79.92%和15.69%。由于与基体树脂较好的界面结合,硅烷或硬脂酸处理的(ATH/MH)可同时提高ATH/MH/POE/m-LLDPE复合材料的力学性能和阻燃性能。 Metallocene linear low density polyethylene(m-LLDPE)flame retardant composites were prepared by twin-screw extruder and injection molding using aluminum hydroxide(ATH)and magnesium hydroxide(MH)as flame retardants,ethylene-octene copolymer(POE)as tougheners and maleic anhydride grafted linear low density polyethylene(LLDPE-g-MAH)as compatibilizer.Tensile tests,impact tests,thermogravimetric analysis,ultimate oxygen index,vertical combustion test and scanning electron microscopy were used to study the effect of flame retardant or POE contents and surface treatment of flame retardant on flame retardant,mechanical properties and morphology of the flame retardant m-LLDPE.The results indicate that the thermal decomposition temperature range of flame retardant(ATH/MH)completely covers the thermal degradation range of m-LLDPE.During the combustion process of the material,ATH/MH has been playing a flame retardant role.The oxygen index(28.7%)of untreated(ATH/MH)/POE/m-LLDPE composites with 60%flame retardant is nearly 1.65 times that of pure m-LLDPE.When the contents of POE increases from 6%to 10%,the impact strength(46.93 kJ/m^(2))and the elongation at break(28.67%)of 60%untreated(ATH/MH)/POE/m-LLDPE are increased to 84.44 kJ/m^(2)and 33.17%,respectively,increasing by 79.92%and 15.69%,respectively.Addition silane or stearic acid treated(ATH/MH)could improve both mechanical strength and flame retardant properties of ATH/MH/POE/m-LLDPE composites due to better interfacial adhesion between ATH/MH and POE/m-LLDPE.
