无氯环保型纸张增湿强剂的制备及应用性能

摘要 以己二酸(AA)、二乙烯三胺(DETA)为原料,甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯(GMA)为功能性单体,采用分子量调节剂和活性基团保护剂,通过水溶液共聚法制备了一种自交联酰胺共聚物(G-PPC),将其用作纸张增湿强剂,进行浆内添加后得到G-PPC增强纸张。利用傅里叶红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线电子能谱(XPS)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、Zeta电位和溶液粒径测试对G-PPC的结构及其在纸浆纤维中的应用性能进行表征分析,探讨了DETA和GMA单体用量对纸张增湿强效果的影响。结果表明:当AA、DETA、GMA物质的量比为1.0∶1.1∶1.0时可制得性能优越的酰胺共聚物G-PPC,此时G-PPC溶液的平均粒径为162.7 nm;当G-PPC的浆内添加量为绝干纤维质量的0.8%时,浆内Zeta电位为+3.0 mV,纸张干、湿抗张指数分别为26.40和6.97 N·m/g。与原纸相比,纸张干、湿抗张指数分别提高了26.86%和332.92%,纸张增湿强效果显著;与商用增湿强剂聚酰胺多胺环氧氯丙烷(PAE)相比,纸张干、湿抗张指数分别提高了5.41%和48.61%。研究表明G-PPC对纸张具有良好的增湿强效果,是一种无氯环保型纸张增湿强剂。 Polyamide polyamine epichlorohydrin(PAE)resin is one of the most important functional fine chemicals for paper making,which has a large market share due to its good wetting resistance and wide pH range,but it contains organochlorine,and the adsorbable organochlorine oxide(AOX)produced during its service can be harmful to people s health.China newly promulgated a national standard GB/T 36420-2018“Household paper and paper products chemicals and raw materials safety evaluation management system”in the household paper to limit the addition of chemicals of PAE,and the sum of the content of organic chlorines in PAE wetting strength agent shall not exceed 0.7%of the total amount of PAE,which also affects the PAE resin market value.The current research on PAE mainly focuses on the introduction of other functional groups to increase the crosslinking and branching of PAE to improve the overall performance,while the exploration of chlorine-free environmentally friendly paper wetting agent is rarely seen in published reports.Glycidyl methacrylate(GMA)is a highly reactive and hydrophobic acrylate monomer,which has a lipophilic ester bond structure and the main functional group for paper wetting agent-epoxy group,so it can be used to replace epichlorohydrin to synthesize a non-chlorine paper wetting agent.Therefore,based on the traditional paper wetting agent PAE resin,this study prepared a self-crosslinking amide copolymer(G-PPC)by the aqueous copolymerization method using adipic acid(AA)and diethylenetriamine(DETA)as raw materials,glycidyl methacrylate(GMA)as functional monomer,molecular weight regulator and reactive group protector,which were used as a paper wetting agent,and then added to the pulp.The G-PPC reinforced paper was fabricated.The structure of G-PPC and its performance in pulp fibers were characterized by the Fourier infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray electron spectroscopy(XPS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Zeta potential and solution particle size tests,and the effects of the DETA and GMA monomer dosa
