摘要
当代法国激进哲学的领军人物阿兰·巴迪欧的代表作《存在与事件》基于数学的建构,以“事件”概念为核心,展开了一系列创造性的哲学思想。本文基于对“事件”概念两种数学形式的考察,指出了这个概念的“不可能性”的超验维度,以及作为事件后果的“不可判定性”的经验维度。巴迪欧既通过“事件”宣布了一种彻底的断裂,又通过“脱殊真理”“先将来时主体”等理论,给出了将这种“断裂”落实到人间、敞开一种建构未来的新的情境的可能。巴迪欧的这一理论,既具有革命的激进维度,同时也由于主体的被动性而呈现出一定的保守特征。
As the leading figure in contemporary French radical philosophy,Alain Badiou creatively derives and develops a series of philosophical notions from mathematics in his book Being and Event,and the key notion is“event”.By examining its two mathematical forms,this article analyses the two dimensions of this notion:the transcendent dimension,which is the impossibility of this notion itself,and the empirical dimension,which is the undecidability of the consequence of the event.Badiou declares a rupture with the notion“event”,but also makes this rupture descend to the empirical level with his theories“generic truth”and“subject of le futur antérieur”,which opens up the possibility to a future situation.This article further argues that these theories are radical and revolutionary to great extent,but also appears conventional,for they make the subject passive.
