摘要
吴王阖庐三年,兴兵伐楚,名义上是讨伐吴国亡将二公子盖余、烛庸。因钟吾国收留烛庸,徐国收留盖余,所以钟吾、徐国也是讨伐的对象。孙武对舒城、钟吾国、徐国、养城四地进行了全面综合分析,确定了攻取顺序,谋划好了四战之间的衔接,先“拔舒”擒烛庸,最后“克养”获盖余。盖余曾擒获胡国国君,现在又占据了部分胡田,深为胡国所恨。孙武通过交好胡国,得胡国全力相助,毫不费力地攻克了养城,擒获了盖余。
In the third year of King Helv’s reign of the State of Wu,the army was mobilized to attack the State of Chu,ostensibly to punish the two princes,Gai Yu and Zhu Yong,who had defected to the State of Chu.As Zhong Wuguo sheltered Zhu Yong and the State of Xu sheltered Gai Yu,they became targets of the attack as well.Sun Wu conducted a comprehensive analysis of Shucheng,the State of Zhongwu,the State of Xu Guo,and Yangcheng,determined the order of attack,and planned the connections between the four battles.He first captured Zhu Yong in Shucheng and finally captured Gai Yu in Yangcheng.Gai Yu had previously captured the king of the State of Hu and now occupied part of the Hu farmland,making the State of Hu State resentful.By befriending the State of Hu,Sun Wu gained their full assistance and easily conquered Yangcheng,and finally capturing Gai Yu.
