摘要
稀见《广东阳江直隶厅舆地图说》为光绪《广东全省舆地图说》九十三卷之其中两卷,一册一函,为光绪十八年(1892)内府抄本。该书被著录于《中国古籍善本书目》,已知仅故宫博物院图书馆有收藏。书中有手绘舆图彩图三幅(阳江直隶厅二幅、南雄直隶州一幅)。舆图采用经纬网法精绘,图内的地理单元包括:河流、山脉、海岸、岛屿等,小楷书写地名,陆地用赭红色晕滃法表现地貌特征。水系用双线表达,内填以天蓝色。海岸线的边缘亦用蓝色渲染,靠近陆地的部分颜色较深。山脉用形象的笔架式表达,着黛绿色。地名方面有城、村、圩镇、寨名,山岭名,海岛名,及港口、炮台、城堡名等。此图集是清代地图集中的精品,值得介绍和研究。
“Map of Yangjiang Prefecture in Guangdong Province”is a rare manuscript album produced by the“nei fu(Internal court)”of Qing Empire in the eighteenth year of Guangxu Emperor(1892).It is a part of“Map of Guangdong Province”which includes 93 volumes to cover all administrative regions of the province.There is only one library holds to complete set of this item–the Library of National Palace Museum in Beijing.Three unique maps,two of them representing the north and south parts of the Yangjiang prefecture,use longitude and latitude lines with rivers,mountains,costal lines and islands as basic geographical units presented.Relief is presented by caterpillar hachures and hydrographic features are giving by water lines.Costal lines has been blue colored with grey scales to indicate coastal area and the sea clearly.This rare book is a very good example to showcase the development of cartography of Qing Dynasty.
