《中国沿海灯塔志》是国内航标业界和灯塔历史研究的标志性史料,对研究中国近现代灯塔和航标发展具有十分重要的意义。根据查证旧海关有关历史资料,并结合多年来的研读和理解,对该书的成书背景、编著者和翻译者、历史价值和缺憾进行了考证和介绍,并根据相关资料和从业经历对该书中的部分内容进行了解读和推测,可以为后续研究提供一定的参考和借鉴。
The Coastwise Lights of China is a landmark historical document in the domestic navigation industry and lighthouse history research with a great significance for the study of modern and contemporary lighthouses and aids to navigation(AtoN)development in China.The author studies and introduces the background of the book,authors and translators,historical value,and shortcomings based on a review of the historical documents from old customs and years of reading and understanding.In view of relevant information and work experience,the author also interprets and speculates on some contents of the book,in the hope of providing reference for future research.
