搅拌针锥度对塑料搅拌摩擦焊接头质量的影响

Effect of tool pin taper on joint quality in friction stir welded plastic

摘要 搅拌摩擦焊技术(FSW)现已广泛应用于热塑性复合材料的连接,其接头必须满足足够的强度。采用不同锥度的搅拌针,对以30%玻璃纤维为增强体,尼龙6为基体的热塑性复合材料(GFR PA6)进行水下搅拌摩擦焊实验,研究搅拌针锥度对焊缝力学性能及其缺陷的影响。结果表明,搅拌针类型的不同对焊接接头的强度影响最大,当搅拌针锥度为15°、转速1800 r/min、焊接速度20 mm/min时,得到的接头最大抗拉强度为45.25 Mpa,为母材强度的46.2%。三个焊接参数中搅拌针锥度对接头强度影响最为显著,其次是转速,最后是焊接速度。 Friction stir welding(FSW)technology has been widely used in the joint of thermoplastic and its composite materials,the joint must have sufficient strength.In order to study the effect of pin taper on mechanical properties and defects of welding seam,underwater FSW experiment were carried out on the?glass fiber-reinforced polyamide 6 sheets(GFR PA6)by using stirring pin with different tapers.Meanwhile,tensile tests and metallographic tests were carried out on the welded joints.The result shows that the shape of the pins have the greatest impact on the strength of the joints.When the pin taper is 15°,the rotational speed is 1800rpm,and the welding speed is 20mm/min,the maximum tensile strength of the joints is 45.25mpa,which is 46.2%of the base metal.Among the three welding parameters,the pin taper has the most significant effect on the joint strength,followed by the rotation speed and the welding speed.
