单位面积时频块上的噪声特性分析与信号检测

摘要 单位带宽内的噪声平均功率n0是雷达、通信、电子对抗等领域中各种性能评价的常用尺度参考,但是工程上对n0的理解及其在信号检测中所发挥作用的认识并不全面。针对这一问题,明确指出n0实际上是单位面积时频块上的噪声平均能量的度量,并在噪声分布及其相关统计特性简要概述的基础上,给出了n0的测量方法,分析了n0与接收系统G/T值之间的关系,展现了匹配滤波对噪声与信号的不同处理效果。最后针对单位面积时频块上的恒虚警信号检测问题,讨论了时频面上单位面积时频单元格的不同划分方式,提出了基于等比尺度分级划分的时频分析工程实现方法。上述研究结果不仅深刻揭示了n0的本质物理意义,而且为与时频分析相关的信号检测类工程应用的具体实现提供了方法上的指导。 The noise average power in unit bandwidth,n0,is a common scale reference for various perfor⁃mance evaluation in radar,communication,electronic countermeasure and other fields,but the understanding on n0 and its role in signal detection in engineering is not comprehensive.For this problem,it is pointed out that in fact n0 is a measure about the average energy of noise on the time-frequency block with unit area.After a brief re⁃view on its noise distribution and related statistical characteristics,the measurement method of n0 is given,the re⁃lationship between n0 and G/T value of the receiving system is analyzed,and the different processing effects on noise and signal in the matched filtering process are shown.Finally,for the problem of constant false alarm rate signal detection on the time-frequency block with unit area,the different division methods about unit area cell on time-frequency plane are discussed,and the engineering implementation method about time-frequency analysis based on hierarchical division with equal scale is proposed.These research results not only reveal the essential physical significance about n0,but also provide methodological guidance for the engineering implementation of sig⁃nal detection applications related to time-frequency analysis.
