摘要
在《实用型研究的非实用性:当代科学变革史》中,波普科维茨提出了一个问题,即所谓的“实用型研究”如何在全球范围内成为教育科学乃至整个社会科学领域的核心范式。所谓“实用的”知识似乎成为了各种社会弊病的万灵药,它超越了文化边界和认识论差异成为全球知识共同体的最新共识和共通情感。在这篇访谈中,我们将深入探讨作为一种普遍推崇的“实用型研究”和它的发生机制、文化历史动力以及“理性系统”,意图揭示旨在推动人类普遍福祉的当代教育科学如何被它自身的比较主义所限制,以及此悖论如何帮助我们理解碎片化知识和“后真相”时代中的知识/权力运行机制。
In his 2020 book The Impracticality of Practical Research:A History of contemporary Sciences of Change that Conserve,Thomas S Popkewitz asked a question that how the so-called“practical”knowledge became the core paradigm of educational and social scientific research on a global scale.Transcending cultural boundaries and epistemological differences,“practical”knowledge is idolized as the new common sense affecting the global knowledge community.In this interview,we will delve into this global apotheosis of“practical research”and explore its conditions of emergence,cultural-historical backgrounds,and“systems of reasoning”.It aims to illuminate how such a universalist appeal has been embodied in“practical research”to promote common welfare of the mankind and conserved by its intrinsic comparative reasoning.It will also shed light on the fragmentation of contemporary educational and social sciences and the knowledge/power mechanism during a post-truth era.
