Deep underground accelerators for studying near-threshold quantum effects in hot stellar plasmas

摘要 Low energy particle accelerators,located at deep underground locations,have been developed over the last three decades,to perform nuclear reaction measurements at nearly cosmic ray free background conditions.They are a unique tool in our desire to study and interpret the origin of the elements in our universe,from the Big Bang to present times[1].
