摘要
本文面向DSP芯片的应用需求,设计并实现了一种多波特率的串口控制器(MB-UART,Multi-Baud Rate UART)IP软核,对内支持APB总线接口,对外支持标准的串行总线,该控制器结构简洁、使用方便、可扩展性强,可以稳定的实现与PC机的串口通信,并支持多种不同的波特率,数据传输准确、可靠,且支持PC机通过串口将Boot程序烧录到片外Flash中,实现对Boot程序的更新,可以广泛应用于各类SoC芯片。
Facing the application requirements of DSP chips,this paper designs and implements a multi-baud rate serial port controller(MB-UART,Multi-Baud Rate UART)IP soft core,to support APB bus interface internally and standard serial bus externally.This controller has simple structure,convenient operation and strong scalability,it can stably realize serial communication with PC,and supports a variety of different baud rates.The data transmission is accurate and reliable,and it support the PC through the serial port to burn the Boot program into the off-chip Flash,so as to achieve the update of the Boot program,which can be widely used in various SoC chips.
