摘要
《沽上琅嬛:天津藏书楼与藏书家》是一部集藏书文化与城市文化于一体的专著,也是一部兼具学术性与通俗性的佳作。该书梳理了24个藏书家(家族)的藏书活动,通过缕述藏书家与天津的渊源揭示“天津藏书家”的内涵,以藏书楼的古今对比反映天津建筑文化的变迁,又通过藏书事迹表现了藏书家对传统文化的认同以及化私为公的理念,以藏书家在经济、教育、慈善等领域的活动展现了近现代天津开风气之先的一面,既具有较高的史料价值,又有助于促进藏书文化与天津城市文化的传播。
Gushang langhuan:Tianjin Library and Book Collector is a monograph integrating book collection culture and urban culture,and is also a good work with both academic and popular characteristics.The book combs the book collection activities of 24 book collectors(families),reveals the connotation of“Tianjin bibliophile”by describing the origin of book collectors and Tianjin,reflects the changes of Tianjin architectural culture by comparing the ancient and modern library buildings,and shows the recognition of traditional culture and the concept of turning private into public through book collection deeds.The activities of bibliophile in the fields of economy,education,charity and so on show the pioneering side of modern Tianjin.It not only has high historical value,but also helps to promote the dissemination of book collection culture and Tianjin urban culture.
