摘要
美籍汉学家福开森在金石研究上成就卓著,这离不开其与中国学人的交流切磋。本文通过对日记、书信、档案等文献的梳理,揭示了晚清时缪荃孙、端方在金石方面对福开森的影响,并考察了民国时福开森与王国维、陈垣、容庚、陈邦福、关百益、郭沫若等金石学者的切磋交流。
American Sinologist John C.Ferguson made outstanding achievements in the study of epigraphy,which was related to his academic interaction with the Chinese scholars.This paper,by investigating diaries,letters and archives,reveals Miao Quansun and Duan Fang’s influence on Ferguson in the late Qing Dynasty and the relationship and communication between Ferguson and Chinese scholars during the Minguo Period,such as Wang Guowei,Chen Yuan,Rong Geng,Chen Bangfu,Guan Baiyi and Guo Moruo.
