摘要
中华人民共和国成立初期,周保中受党中央指派赴任云南,领导云南人民重建家园。在主持云南工作的两年多时间里,周保中通过恢复经济、制定民族政策、加强民族团结等工作,对中华人民共和国成立后云南地区的民族工作进行了初步探索与实践,为巩固祖国西南边疆的稳定打下了坚实基础,为云南民族地区的发展做出了卓越贡献。周保中对云南民族工作的探索与实践,是中国共产党在云南地区开展民族工作的宝贵历史经验,至今仍然有重要的学习和研究意义。
Zhou Baozhong,often known as“Baizi General”,is a well-known patriotic anti-Japanese hero.In the early days of the People’s Republic of China,the CPC Central Committee deployed him to Yunnan to lead the restoration of all production and social sectors.After the establishment of the People's Republic of China,he undertook ethnological research and practice in Yunnan.Zhou Baozhong has established political power,economic recovery,national policy,the implementation of ethnic regional autonomy system,strengthening national unity and united front work,efforts to consolidate the stability constant of the motherland’s southwestern frontier,and efforts to consolidate the stability constant of the southwestern frontier for more than two years as Yunnan's education minister.Zhou Baozhong's inquiry and practice of ethnic work in Yunnan is a priceless historical account of the CPC's ethnic work in Yunnan that is still relevant to study and research.
