摘要
为改善烧结镁砂性能,以菱镁矿经900℃煅烧后的轻烧氧化镁粉为主要原料,引入Sc_(2)O_(3)作为添加剂,经1 600℃煅烧3 h得到烧结镁砂试样。研究Sc_(2)O_(3)添加量(质量分数分别为0、1%、2%、3%和4%)对试样致密度、物相组成及显微结构的影响。结果表明:Sc_(2)O_(3)会固溶进入MgO晶粒并引起MgO晶格畸变,起到了活化晶格促进烧结的作用;同时Sc_(2)O_(3)会与镁砂中杂质成分CaO发生反应,在方镁石晶间生成高熔点的CaSc_(2)O_(4)相。因此,添加Sc_(2)O_(3)提高了试样致密度,当加入3%(w)时,致密性最好。
In order to improve the properties of sintered magnesia,the light burned magnesia powder prepared by calcining magnesite at 900 ℃ was used as the main raw material and Sc_(2)O_(3) was introduced as an additive.Sintered magnesia samples were obtained by calcining them at 1 600 ℃ for 3 h.Effects of the Sc_(2)O_(3) addition(0,1%,2%,3% and 4%,by mass) on the density,the phase composition and the microstructure of the samples were studied.The results show that Sc_(2)O_(3) can dissolve into MgO grains and cause lattice distortion of MgO,activating the lattice and promoting the sintering.At the same time,Sc_(2)O_(3) reacts with the impurity CaO in magnesia to generate high-melting point phase CaSc_(2)O_4 among magnesite crystals.Therefore,adding Sc_(2)O_(3) increases the density of the samples,and with 3% Sc_(2)O_(3),the densification is the best.
