摘要
传统修辞学学科场域内的类比可理解为以两(多)事物的譬类特征为出发点,藉已知事物描述和论证目标事物的普通修辞运用。徐盛桓(2019,2020a,2020b)隐喻分形说视域下,类比隐喻建立于概念(本体)和由概念分形而来的表象(比体)间的(自)相似性,据此构拟“分形—整体(自)相似性”识解模型。类比隐喻体现了本体映照分形理论的概念整体,比体对应于构成概念整体的表象分形。其生成机制为借助话语者的类推思维,基于比体和本体即分形和整体间的(自)相似性而触发的不同强度的类比(自)相似性涌现。本文所倡导的汉英对比视角中,体验现实主义哲学基石佐证汉英类比的共通之处,而文化模型因子揭示差异性理据。
As a traditional figure of speech in Chinese and English,analogy can be interpreted as describing and distinguishing an individual entity in terms of another from the stance of essence of similarity.This iper proposes that analogy is generated by the(self-)similarity between the certain concept(i.e.,target domain)and its perceptual representation(s)(i.e.,source domain)with the fractal-theoretical approach to metaphor by Xu(2019,2020a,2020b),which can be entitled the Fractal-Whole(Self-)Similarity Construing Model.The generation mechanism of analogical metaphor is depicted as follows:the target domain echoes with the concept;the source domain reflects fractal which is likely to be esteemed as a sort of perceptual representation(s)from the whole concept.Based upon the analogical thinking,this paper examinces the(self-)similarity between source(i.e.,fractal)and target(i.e.,concept)of analogical metaphor.It is postulated that embodied realism as a philosophical basis is adopted to testify the resemblance between Chinese and English analogical metaphors,and diverse factors within cultural models account for discrepancies.
