摘要
孟宪承毕生从事师范教育事业,先后创办浙江省立民众实验学校、华东师范大学两所师范院校,对我国现当代师范教育发展产生深远影响。在深入研究古今中外优秀教育思想和长期师范教育教学实践的基础上,他倡导根据社会需要和教育目标举办师范教育,主张坚持“师范性”、加强“学术性”的办学方向,重视师范生品德涵养、文化基础与专业技能培养。他重视师范教育事业,坚持灵活办学、坚守师范特性、注重师德涵养。这些思想对我国当前建设高素质专业化创新型教师队伍的改革,具有重要的参考价值。
Meng Xiancheng devoted himself to the career of pedagogical education.He established Zhejiang Provincial Experimental School for Public Education and East China Normal University subsequently,which exert deep influence on the modern and contemporary pedagogical education.Based on his research on the marvelous educational thoughts at all times in the world and his long-term teaching practices of pedagogical education,Meng advocated to conduct pedagogical education based on social demands and educational objectives.Meng advocated to conduct the pedagogical education according to social needs and educational objectives.He emphasized and insisted the idea of focusing on nature of modeling and academy in running the schools at all levels.More attention should be paid to the training of normal students in fundamental cultural courses and normal professional courses as well as the morality and attitudes of normal students.At the same time,Meng paid close attention to the flexible way of running school,the nature of normal school and the cultivation of morality of teachers.In the reform of cultivating high-quality,professional and creative teachers in current China,Meng’s thoughts and practices of pedagogical education are definitely enlightening to us.
