摘要
5G广播采用点对多点传输方式,通过引入广播大塔,能够在移动通信网络提供线性电视、软件升级等不受终端数量限制的广播服务,与点对点传输模式形成优势互补,是未来广播技术发展最重要的方向。本文结合3GPP标准中广播多播技术的发展背景,梳理了从2G以来的广播多播服务的标准化过程,介绍5G广播标准发展重要阶段开展的试验和商用服务,并对未来5G广播发展的关键技术进行了探讨。
5G broadcast which adopts the point-to-multipoint transmission mode,by introducing TV towers,can provide linear TV,software upgrades and other broadcasting services to unlimited users over mobile networks.As a complementary with the point-to-point transmission mode,5G broadcast is the most promising broadcasting technology in the future.This survey studies the standardization process of multicast and broadcast services since 2G era and introduces the most important experimental and commercial trials of each development stage.Based on the state-of-the-art,several research directions of key techniques are discussed.
