With the shift of medical services to the patient-centered model, the evaluation of clinical outcomes after total knee arthroplasty( TKA) has also shifted from the perspective of medical staff to the perspective of patients,and the patient reported outcomes( PRO) scale of TKA was born. Many countries and regions have developed the corresponding PRO scale for TKA patients according to their own regional culture and lifestyle characteristics. Scales for TKA patients in China have been widely used in clinical research, but the mainstream scales used are the translated versions of foreign scales. There are still questions about its adaptation for Chinese people. This paper mainly discussed the development and application of PRO scale for TKA patients at home and abroad, so as to provide reference for the development and evaluation of PRO scale for TKA patients in China.
