多米尼加蓝珀异常光谱及热处理对其谱学特征影响机制

Unique spectral characteristics and heat treatment effect on spectra of blue ambers from Dominican Republic

摘要 采用红外、紫外-可见漫反射和光致发光光谱对产地为多米尼加共和国的蓝珀进行较系统的宝石学及光谱特征研究,并就热处理对其特征光谱的影响及其改变机制予以初步探究。多米尼加蓝珀具蓝色荧光,热处理易致其蓝色荧光转为白垩状土黄色,且体色由黄色变为褐红色,同时表面可见龟裂纹。红外光谱表明,样品常态下具2931、2860、1710、1454、1380、1242、1176、1041 cm^(-1)附近的典型吸收峰,其中2931cm^(-1)与1710 cm^(-1)的强度比值I>1;热处理后,上述典型特征峰改变不明显,但其I值渐小,并可至I≤1,因此I值可作为蓝珀经热处理的指向性依据。蓝珀的紫外-可见漫反射光谱中可见449、474 nm附近的反射峰及918 nm附近的弱吸收,但上述特征峰在样品经一定强度的热处理后,均趋消失。光致发光光谱测试表明,样品常态下可见449、475、504 nm附近具鉴定意义的指纹特征峰,但经热处理并随着处理时间增加,其中449 nm处吸收先减弱,直至以上3个特征峰合并为545 nm处的单峰。 With conventional gemological methods,infrared spectrometer,UV-visible diffuse reflectance and photoluminescence spectrometer,gemmology and spectral characteristics of blue ambers from Dominican Republic were analyzed systematically.The effect and change mechanism of heat treatment on its characteristic spectrum were investigated for the first time.The results showed that:(1)The blue amber from Dominican Republic has blue fluorescence.However,the color of fluorescence turns to chalky earth yellow after the amber was treated by heating.Meanwhile,the body color changes from yellow to maroon.Additionally,some turtle cracks can be seen on the surface of amber.(2)The infrared spectra showed that the typical absorption is 2931,2860,1710,1454,1380,1242,1176,1041 cm^(-1) under normal conditions and the intensity ratio I at 2931 cm^(-1) to 1710 cm^(-1) is greater than 1.After heat treatment,the changes of the above typical characteristics are not obvious,but the I value decreases gradually until I≤1.So the I value can be used as the basis for the orientation of amber after treatment.(3)The weak reflection peak at 449,474 nm and the weak absorption near 918 nm can be seen in the UV-visible spectrum of the samples.After a certain intensity of heat treatment,the above characteristic peaks tend to disappear.(4)Photoluminescence spectra showed that the fingerprint characteristic peaks nearby 449,475 and 504 nm were visible under normal conditions.However,with the increase of treatment,the intensity of absorption peak at 449 nm gradually became weak.Finally,the above three characteristic peaks merge into a single peak at 545 nm.
