摘要
在“二十六史”《艺术列传》中,《后汉书》的《方术列传》是比较重要的一个环节,它集前史《史记》的《日者列传》和《龟策列传》内容,将其概念演变为“方术”,是为《后汉书·方术列传》。其内容在“日者”“龟策”基础之上有较大的增加,扩充了《汉书·艺文志》里的《数术略》《方技略》的内容,奠定了后史《艺术列传》的基本路径与脉络。《魏书》在此基础上演变为“术艺”是为《术艺列传》,此后《晋书》《周书》《隋书》和《北史》再次演变为《艺术列传》,尽管新旧《唐书》以后又变迁为《方技(伎)列传》,但依然是这个路径,故才有《清史稿·艺术列传》的复出。追溯《艺术列传》的“原型”实为《方术列传》。
Among volumes of Yishui-liezhuan(On Arts) in the 26 canonical histories,Fangshu-liezhuan(On Arts to Exercise Supernatural Power) in Hou-hanshu(The Book of Later Han) is a relatively important link.It integrates Rizhe(On Diviners) and Guice(On Divination Practices with Tortoise Shells),and turns their concepts into the term “Fangshu” in Fangshu-liezhuan(On Arts to Exercise Supernatural Power).On the basis of “diviners” and “divination practices with tortoise shells”,it enriched the volumes of Shushu-lue(On Numerology) and Fangshu-lue(Classification of Arts to Exercise Supernatural Power) in Yiwen-zhi(On Arts and Literatures) in Hanshu(Canonical Book of the Western Han Dynasty),and provided the basic framework and context for the later Yishui-liezhuan(On Arts).From it,came the Shuyi-liezhuan(On Arts and Skills) in Weishu(Canonical Book of the Northern Wei Dynasty) and then evolved as Yishu-liezhuan(On Arts) again in Jinshu(Book of the Jin Dynasty),Zhoushu(Book of the Northern Zhou Dynasty),Suishu(Book of the Sui Dynasty) and Beishi(Canonical History of the Northern Dynasties).Although it later changed into Fangji-liezhuan(On Skills to Exercise Supernatural Power) again in Tangshu(First and Second Canonical Books of the Tang Dynasty),it still develops within such a framework,so again there was Yishu-liezhuan(On Arts) in Qingshi-gao(Draft History of Qing) whose prototype can be traced back into Fangshu-liezhuan(On Arts to Exercise Supernatural Power).
