摘要
我国公开出版的刊物大多要求作者将学术论文的标题、作者提供刊发文章英译论文摘要。然而,随着近年来人工智能和大数据技术的突破,很多作者直接采用机器翻译其论文摘要,但其又缺乏足够的译后编辑能力,从而导致整体论文摘要英译质量不高。笔者基于多年的论文摘要英译和润色案例,剖析机翻译文,寻找译后编辑要点,从翻译方式、措辞风格、时态选择、语态应用等四个方面论述常见问题,并提出相应的译后编辑对策。
Most publications in China require the authors to provide an English version of the title and abstract of their academic papers.Meanwhile,with the continuous breakthroughs achieved in terms of AI and big data technology in recent years,many authors may directly turn to platforms for translating the abstracts.However,some authors’post-editing abilities may be lacking,thus resulting in low-quality translations of the abstracts.Based on some abstracts’translation and polishing cases,this paper firstly explores the critical rules of post-translation editing by analyzing the machine-translated texts;then discusses frequently seen problems from aspects such as translation method,wording style,tense selection,and voice application;and finally proposes corresponding post-editing strategies.
